Light is obviously a critical element of photography, but what if you made light the central subject of your photos?

Alexander Harding’s Visible Light series explores that question, with each photo using light in remarkably beautiful ways.

I had strange conflicting feelings about this scene when I first saw it. Bishop is probably my favorite character in the series after Ripley, and it was great to see the connection between the two right before this happens. So I was rather crushed when he got fucked up, BUT I was also really amazed by the effects and editing for the sequence itself. And then I hoped that Bishop being a robot meant he wasn’t quite dead yet… And then the especially great part, where despite being half of what he was, he still makes the effort to save Newt from getting dragged into space.

Agh. My feels are weirding me out right now.
